A 56-year-old London man has been arrested in connection with an east end bank robbery Thursday.
London police say a man walked into the CIBC Bank at 380 Clarke Rd., south of Dundas St. around 11:40am and demanded money. The man was given an undisclosed amount of cash before taking off.
No weapon was seen and no one was injured during the robbery.
Officers searched the area, arresting a 56-year-old man a short time later.
Police say charges are pending and are asking anyone with information about the robbery to give them a call at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
