Constable Juan Romero told BlackburnNews.com that a citizen discovered the body around 9:15am Sunday morning. He says the body was found on the north side of the river, between Richmond St. and Ridout St.
Romero adds a cause of death is undetermined at this point.
A name will not be released until a next of kin is notified.
