London police say eight people are now facing charges after five marijuana dispensaries were raided on Thursday.
The five shops - Tasty Budd’s on Wharncliffe Rd., the Chronic Hub Social Club on Dundas St., Healing Health Compassion on Wonderland Rd. S, Herbal Alternatives on Hamilton Rd., and Healing Health Compassion on Dundas St. - were raided around noon.
Police say they seized just under $170,000 worth of marijuana products and took eight people into custody.
All are charged with possessing a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking.
None have been named by police.
