The London Knights dropped a 5-1 decision to the Erie Otters at Erie Insurance Arena on Wednesday.
The Knights were off the a rough start with Erie scoring twice late in the first period. The Otters then took a 4-0 lead with a goal 4:08 into the second and another after 13:13.
Evan Bouchard scored London's first goal of the game with four seconds left in the second frame, but Erie scored one more unanswered goal 11:28 into the third to cap off their win.
Erie also outshot London 31-17.
The Knights will battle the Owen Sound Attack on Friday. The puck drops at 7:30pm at Budweiser Gardens.
