Lightning Struck Down By A's

The London Lightning fell 121-113 to the Orangeville A's on Wednesday.

The A's were ahead by three points at the end of the first quarter, and London continued to trail 60-55 at halftime. The Lightning fought hard in the third but couldn't gain the lead, with the A's still in front 89-86 going into the final frame.

London surged in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 99 with 8:14 remaining. The two teams went blow for blow in the final minutes until Orangeville pulled ahead for good to earn the win.

Julian Boyd led the Lightning with 31 points, while Royce White had 27.

The Lightning are back at home on Thursday when they take on the Niagara River Lions at 7pm.
