The London Knights lost a close 3-2 game in a shootout to the Owen Sound Attack on Friday.
The Attack scored a 1-0 advantage in the first period, but Alex Formenton scored with less than a minute left in the second to ties things up going into the third.
The Attack regained the lead with a goal 5:26 into the third frame, however, the Knights were able to force the game into overtime thanks to a goal Janne Kuokkanen with just over three minutes left to play.
After no scoring in OT, Owen Sound was able to outscore London in a shootout for the win.
Goaltender Tyler Parsons made 23 saves out of 25 shots on net.
The Knights are at Budweiser Gardens on Sunday to take on the Flint Firebirds at 2pm.
