Drug Charges Laid After Hwy. 401 Crash

A Sarnia man is facing drug charges after a multi-vehicle crash on Hwy. 401 in London earlier this month.

Middlesex OPP say a car was in the westbound lanes of the highway, near Wellington Rd. when it collided with two other vehicles just after 1pm on November 5. Fortunately, no one was injured in the crash.

Police allege drugs were found inside the car and placed the 23-year-old male driver from Sarnia under arrest. He is charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and careless driving.
