Engine Problem Causes Flight To Return To London

No one has been injured after engine problems forced a Toronto-bound flight to return to London's airport shortly after take off.

London Fire Department Platoon Chief Dave Walmsley says fire crews were called to London International Airport just before 4pm on Wednesday, but Air Canada flight 8650 was able to return and land without any issue.

Fire officials say it appeared that one of the engines was not operational, and there was no apparent fire when the plane landed.

The flight was scheduled to depart London at 3:30pm, and Walmsley says there were approximately 63 passengers on board.
