Murder Charge Laid In Death Of London Man

A 27-year-old London man has been charged with second degree murder following the death of a man at a downtown highrise.

London police, responding to a 911 call, found the body of a 27-year-old man inside an apartment at 323 Colborne St. shortly after 10am on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Nathan Timothy Deslippe of London. An autopsy will be performed Monday at London Health Sciences Centre.

William Joles was arrested at the scene. He is charged with one count of second degree murder.

Joles is also charged with one count each of forcible confinement, assault, and uttering threats to case death against a second individual. Police say these charges stem from a related event at the same location.
