Arrest Made In Death Of Man In London

Police have made an arrest after a body was found in a London apartment building.

The London Police Service says on Sunday around 10am, officers responded to an apartment unit on 323 Colborne St. where the body of a male was located following a 911 call.

The identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of his next of kin.

An unidentified man was also in the apartment when officers arrived. He has been arrested and remains in custody.

"At this point, there is no threat to public safety, we're not looking for anyone," says Constable Chris Loizides. "We're asking the public, if they have any information about what happened here to give us a call."

Police say no charges have been laid at this time and the London police Major Crime Section has been called in to investigate.

No further information is being released at this time as police officials say officers are still in the early stages of the investigation.
