Thousands of dollars worth of cocaine, ecstasy, and magic mushrooms have been seized in a drug bust beside a St. Thomas high school.
The St. Thomas police drug enforcement unit raided a house in the downtown that neighbours a local high school around 2:15pm on Thursday.
Inside the home, police say they found 17g of cocaine, 105 Ecstasy capsules, 2.8kg of marijuana, 107g of magic mushrooms, and various edibles made with marijuana residue. According to police, the drugs are valued at approximately $22,000.
A 31-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, both from St. Thomas, are charged with several drug trafficking related offences.
