Jones Suspended 12 Games

The London Knights are going to be without Max Jones for a while.

The Ontario Hockey League announced on Friday afternoon that the Knights forward has been suspended for 12 games for his hit the head of Owen Sound's Justin Brack in Wednesday's game 4 of the opening round playoff series.

The OHL says it levied the suspension because the hit was delivered to the head of an unsuspecting or vulnerable player who was injured on the play.

The suspension takes effect immediately, so Jones will not be in the line-up for Game 5 at Budweiser Gardens on Friday night.
