Fire Sends One To Hospital

One person was taken to hospital for "general assessment" after a fire on Oxford St.

London fire crews were called to 87 Oxford St. W just after 7pm Tuesday. A blaze had broken out in a house, causing heavy fire and smoke damage to both the main and second floors. The fire department says the blaze was the result of unattended cooking oil.

Damage is estimated at $150,000.
