Knights Crush Otters 6-1

The London Knights moved closer to the Western Conference lead with a 6-1 win over the Erie Otters on Thursday night.

Mitch Marner, who was named as the OHL's player of the month for March, led the attack with three assists as the Knights moved to within four points of the Otters for the conference lead. Matthew Tkachuk, Aaron Berisha, Owen MacDonald, Christian Dvorak, Max Jones and JJ Piccinich all scored once for London. Tyler Parsons made 24 saves for the Knights.

The battle for the Western Conference crown could come right down to the final weekend, as the Knights and Otters finish their schedules with a home-and-home series against each other on March 18 and 19. Both teams have eight games left in the regular season

The Knights are back on the ice on Friday to take on the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds at 7:30pm.
