Knights Double Spitfires

After a loss to Windsor last weekend, the London Knights returned to their home ice to score a 6-3 victory over the Spitfires on Friday.

The Knights started off strong with a 3-0 lead in the first period. Windsor made it on the board with a goal in the second, but London answered with another of their own. Both teams scored twice in the final frame, which kept London ahead with a three goal advantage for the win.

Mitchell Marner and JJ Piccinich were lead scorers for London with two goals each, while Brandon Crawley and Aaron Berisha both scored one.

Mikhail Sergachev, Christian Fischer and Markus Soberg each scored one goal for Windsor.

The Spitfires return to the ice on Saturday to take on the Guelph Storm at 1:05pm. And then the Knights are set to take on the Saginaw Spirit at 7:05pm.
