Historic Downtown Building Outfitted With Fibre Optics

The historic downtown building at King St. and Clarence St. now has a high speed fibre optic connection.

Several tech companies are sharing the space and taking advantage of grants provided by the city, Downtown London and the London Economic Development Corporation.

Up to $20,000 is available per building for the fibre optic connections.

The goal is to help businesses grow in the downtown core.

All installation is being done by start.ca, which will be investing $1-million over the next year to continue to grow downtown's fibre optic connection.

Businesses that can take advantage of the grant must be focused on creative industries; whether it be gaming, digital marketing or media technology.
