With one in seven Canadian children living in poverty, the Salvation Army of London is looking for donations of back packs and school supplies. The annual Rock Back to School campaign provides kids in need across the Thames Valley District School Board with the essentials needed for the upcoming school year. "Unfortunately, there are still families in our community who struggle so things like extra school supplies do become a burden for families," says Perron Goodyear with the Salvation Army. "We really want to make sure they are able to get the things that they need." Donations can be dropped off at Real Canadian Superstore locations in London up until the start of the school year.
