Majors Advance After Game 7 Win

The London Majors will advance to the semifinals after a 5-3 Game 7 win over the Burlington Bandits Tuesday night in London.

The Majors held a commanding 3-1 lead early in the series, but two losses forced the seventh and deciding game.

Starting pitcher Luis Pina went just over seven innings for the win and gave up two earned runs on six hits. Starter Oscar Perez got his first save, getting the final out with two runners on base.

London catcher Larry Gonzalez had a home run, a double and two RBIs in the win, which advances the Majors to the next round.

Game 1 of the semifinal series against the Kitchener Panthers is in Kitchener tomorrow night at 7:30pm.
