UPDATE: One Dead In Crash Near Strathroy

A single vehicle crash in Strathroy-Caradoc claimed the life of an 18-year-old driver on Sunday.

Starthroy-Caradoc police say it happened just after 6am on Adelaide Rd. near Scotchmere Dr.

A vehicle heading south went off the road and hit a tree.

The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have identified the deceased as 18-year-old Riley O'Brien of Mount Brydges.

Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area between 2am and 6am on Sunday to call investigators.
