Majors Beat Red Sox

The London Majors scored a 6-1 win over the Brantford Red Sox Saturday night.

London pitcher Oscar Perez threw a complete game four-hitter, allowing one run, striking out one and walking four.

Right-fielder Argenis Vargas had three hits, an RBI and run, while left-fielder Michael Ambrose doubled and drove in two. Shortstop Paul Lytwynec had three hits, second baseman Chris McQueen had two RBI, and centre-fielder Julio Guzman drove in a run.

London improves to 19-15 and will play the Toronto Maple Leafs on Sunday. First pitch is at 2pm.
