Majors Make Comeback Against Bandits

The London Majors beat the Burlington Bandits 12-11 after making a comeback from an eight-run deficit Thursday night.

London trailed 8-0 after three innings, but were able to gradually chip away at the Bandits, taking the lead with two runs in the top of the eighth.

Majors first baseman Cleveland Brownlee had a home run, three RBI and scored twice. Catcher Larry Gonzalez drilled his first home run of the season and had two RBI and two runs.

Pitcher Braeden Ferrington picked up the win, striking out five without walking a batter.

The Majors are now 13-11 in the season and will take on the Guelph Royals on Friday. First pitch is at 7:35pm.
