Truck Involved In Collision Found

Hours after a cyclist was hit at Highbury Ave. near Brydges St., London police officers located the driver of a transport truck they believed was involved.

A woman in her forties is in critical condition after she was hit by what witnesses described as an 18-wheel grain hauler in the noon hour. Police say witness accounts led them to the vehicle a few hours later. Bystanders helped the woman until an ambulance arrived. They say the woman wasn't wearing a helmet.

Police were planning to interview the driver to determine whether they were even aware that they were involved in a collision, and whether there will be charges.
