Benefit For Nepal Earthquake Relief

London's performing arts community will come together at Aeolian Hall tonight to raise money for relief efforts in Nepal. On April 25 a magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck the capital, killing thousands and flattening buildings. All money raised during the benefit will go towards the Canadian Red Cross.

"It's part of being a community organization. It's really looking to not only local needs, but also world needs. We have in our community those from Nepal, and it's really devastating to listen to their stories," says Executive Director Clark Bryan. "Musicians themselves, there's no hesitation in asking them to step forward and do something like this, they immediately get it and feel compelled to do that, so that's a testimonial to our community as a whole."

The benefit will feature a wide range of different musicians and performances.

It starts at 6:30 and runs until 10:30.
