Police: Zero Tolerance for Pot Smoking on 4/20

Today is like Christmas Day for pot smokers.

It's 4/20, an important day in the lives of marijuana users who plan to gather at Victoria Park this afternoon to demonstrate for the legalization of marijuana.

London Police say they expect a peaceful protest while protestors are questioning why officers need to be there at all.

Chief Brad Duncan says they're just doing their job.

Duncan says there will be zero tolerance for anyone without a medical certificate who's caught smoking pot. A possession charge could result in a fine, at the court's discretion. Duncan says there's no purpose in shouting at officers and blaming them for laws against pot use because those decisions are made by politicians.
