Middlesex OPP say a man was killed by a falling tree on Cobble Hills Rd. south of St. Marys.
Police were called to the home around 2pm for a sudden death.
Investigators report that a 53-year-old man was cutting down the tree when it fell on him.
Garnett Smith of Thames Centre was pronounced dead at the scene.
Foul play is not suspected.
