Knights Shoot Down Spitfires

The Windsor Spitfires are now riding a four-game losing streak after a crushing 8-2 loss to the London Knights

During the game Saturday night, the Knights played a strong first 20 minutes, taking a 4-0 lead before the end of the period. The Spits were able to score once in the second and once in the third, but they didn't come close to surpassing the Knights, with London scoring two goals in each of the final periods. Despite the loss, the Spits still out shot the Knights 43-26.

Mitchell Marner was the lead scorer for the Knights with three goals. Owen MacDonald and Max Domi each scored two, and Aaron Berisha scored one.

Liam Murray and Hayden McCool scored the two goals for the Spitfires.

The Spits are back on Wednesday to take on the Plymouth Whalers at 7:05pm, and the Knights are set to take on the Erie Otters on Friday at 7:30pm.
