Wild Temperature Swing This Weekend

A wild swing in weather is on its way for the weekend.

London dodged another dumping of snow on Friday morning. A snow squall watch issued Thursday afternoon was cancelled early Friday, replaced by an advisory about freezing rain due early tomorrow as temperatures warm up overnight.

Environment Canada predicts the high temp for Saturday will be 5 C. On Sunday, it's 9 C before it gets back down into the minuses by the middle of next week.

In Buffalo, the snow is expected to finally stop today. The area is buried under a year's worth of snow that fell since Tuesday.

At least ten deaths are blamed on the storm. Now the worry is about flooding, with temperatures expected to rise to 13 C in the Buffalo area over the next few days.
