Fatal Crash Involving Farm Machinery

The OPP is releasing the identity of the man who died after hitting a piece of farm machinery in Bayham.

James Hollywell, 63, of Port Burwell died at the scene around 6pm last night.

Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police say a John Deere tractor was transporting a piece of farm machinery on Nova Scotia Line when a Chrysler 300 traveling west collided with the farm machinery. The car then drove into a ditch and struck a hydro pole.

The driver of the tractor, a 17-year-old youth from Bayham, was not injured.

The investigation is on-going.
