Charges Laid After City Hall Protest

London police say a protest at city hall last week has resulted in charges.

A crowd of protesters, many of them wearing Guy Fawkes masks, rallied outside city hall on November 5. The demonstration coincided with the annual Million Mask March.

Police reported there wwere some minor acts of vandalism that involved people writing slogans in marker on city hall property.

After reviewing video of the protest, police have charged 22-year-old Cameron Lavin of London with obstructing a peace officer and wearing a disguise.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
