Two Chatham-Kent Barnstormers have been named starters for the upcoming Canadian Baseball League All-Star game.
Yushin Ohta will be the starting third baseman for the South All-Stars, while Austin Gurney will be one of the outfielders.
Ohta is tied for the league lead in home runs with eight, and fifth in Runs Batted In (RBI) with 25.
Gurney is tied for fifth in home runs with six and tied for eighth in RBIs with 20.
The All-Star festivities will be split over two days in Chatham at Fergie Jenkins Field on July 11 and 12.
The first day will feature multiple skills competitions, ending with the home run derby. The actual All-Star game will happen the following day.
