The Essex 73's trounced the Lakers 13-2 on Tuesday, in Wallaceburg's 12th straight loss.
William Stadder led Essex with five goals, and Cody Leeming scored twice. Kristian Pelling, Jacob Cruickshank, Jack Sanko, Quinn Fazekas, Dallas Anderson and Wyatt ONeil all added one goal as well.
Zachery Hartig and Drew Fisher scored the two goals for Wallceburg.
The Lakers are on home ice on Wednesday when they take on the Dresden Kings at 7:30pm. And then on Sunday, the 73's head to Blenheim to face off against the Blades at 7pm.
