Nationals Fall To Sugar Kings In Sutherland Cup Final

The Elmira Sugar Kings are the Sutherland Cup champions after defeating the London Nationals 4-1 in Game 5 on Friday.

The Sugar Kings scored twice in the first period to take a 2-0 advantage, which they held in a scoreless second frame.

Quinn Lenihan scored for London early in the third, but Elmira scored another two goals in the final eight minutes of the game to earn the win.

Goaltender Cameron Zanussi made 25 saves out of 29 shots on net for the Nationals.

The Sugar Kings won the championship series 4-1.
