In the NHL, the Detroit Red Wings lost to 4-1 to Tampa Bay last night.

That's their fifth loss in their last six games. Anthony Mantha scored Detroit's only goal late in the third period.

Elsewhere, the Montreal Canadiens continue to play inspired hockey at home.

They beat the Anaheim Ducks 5-1 while only allowing the Ducks to fire a total of 13 shots on goal.
