Pistons Moving To Downtown Detroit

The Pistons will be playing at Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit starting next fall.

An agreement between Palace Sports and Entertainment and the Ilitch Organization was officially reached, Tuesday.

The franchise also announced that it plans to build a state-of-the-art practice facility and corporate headquarters nearby.

According to the District Detroit, relocating the Pistons from Auburn Hills to the city is expected to generate $596.2-million in economic impact for Metro Detroit and create more than 2,100 jobs.

Little Caesars Arena will also become the new home of the Detroit Red Wings in the fall of 2017.
