History Suggesting A Tight Series

The two teams split their six regular season meetings, each winning twice in their home arenas and once on the road.

The Vipers and Nationals both finished the season with 67 points.  The only difference in their records was London had one more tie than LaSalle, who had an extra overtime loss.

In round one, the Nationals disposed of Strathroy in five games, while the Vipers fought back to take its series with Sarnia in seven.
