Opportunity Knocking For Canadiens

Lakeshore can put a strangle-hold on its first round Jr. C playoff series in Mooretown tonight.

Two one-goal wins give them a chance to go up three-games-to-none over the Flags, but Canadiens GM Mark Seguin says that's not on anyone's mind right now.

"We've got a group of guys in our organization that have been around a long time, so we're not worried about a 3-0 lead or a 2-1 lead," he explains. "Tonight's just the next game. We'll worry about the 60 minutes and do what we need to do to prepare to win tonight and that's it."

Seguin thinks the Canadiens power play is what's allowed them to gain a slight edge over Mooretown to this point.

Puck drop is set for 8pm.

Elsewhere, in Jr. B, the Leamington Flyers travel to London.
