Spitfires Fall To Otters

The Windsor Spitfires lost a close 5-4 game to the Erie Otters on Saturday.

The Otters scored a 1-0 lead in the first period, and maintained a 2-1 advantage over Windsor going into the third. The Spitfires battled in the final frame to try and gain an edge on the Otters, but both teams scored three goals giving Erie the win.

Spitfires centre Logan Brown scored once for Windsor and says it was a frustrating loss.

"We all made little mistakes that cost us, myself included," he says. "You'd think that at this point in the season we'd have learned. We lost this game ourselves tonight."

The Spitfires return to the ice on Friday to take on the Kingston Frontenacs at 7pm.
