NHL Scouts Seeing Talent Locally

Three Windsor Spitfires and a Chatham goalie could be early-round NHL Draft picks this year, according to NHL Central Scouting.

The agency now has Spits' Mikhail Sergachev, Logan Brown and Logan Stanley in its top 25 North American skater list.

Sergachev is 10th overall, having posted 11 goals and 18 assists in 43 games this season.

Brown is 14th, with six goals and 30 assists in 30 games.

Stanley, after earning a 'C' rating from scouts during the preseason, is now ranked 23rd with three goals, nine assists and 75 penalty minutes.

Chatham's Joseph Raaymakers is the 4th ranked North American goaltender.

This year's NHL draft will be held in Buffalo.
