A tale of two stellar goaltending performances was capped off with a 2-2 draw between the LaSalle Vipers and Strathroy Rockets last night in GOJHL action.
LaSalle's Paul Battisti made 44 saves while the Rockets' Matt Ouellet made 52 saves in the contest.
In Great Lakes Junor C action, Wheatley was unable to come back against Mooretown, losing 5-3.
After being held scoreless through the first two periods, Wheatley got the scoring going with Nick Tavolieri-Essex, who also had an assist on the night. Justin Pinsonneault and Mitchell Prudence had the other goals for the Sharks.
