Spits Win With Big Third Period

The Windsor Spitfires scored four-goals in the third period to beat the Battalion 5-2 in North Bay.

Christian Fischer scored the game winner, tipping in a Logan Stanley point shot early in the third.

Rookie Cole Carter scored the first goal of the game for Windsor, and the first of his OHL career.

Aaron Luchuk scored his team leading 7th of the season. Luke Kirwan and Cristiano DiGiacinto also netted goals for Windsor.

It's the Spits fifth win in seven road games.
