London A Tough Test For Spits

The Windsor Spitfires look to continue their hot start to the season tonight in London.

Head Coach Rocky Thompson was thrilled with his team's 7-1 win over Saginaw last night, but knows this is going to be a big test for his club.

"(London's) a great team," he says. "It's always a tough building to go in. Their fans, it's a Friday night, it's going to be an outstanding atmosphere. I think our guys are really excited about it."

With five points through their first three games, the Spits are off to their best start since the 2008-09 season.

Last night's win was Windsor's largest margin of victory in a game since November 14, 2013, when they beat Mississauga 6-0.

London has one win and a shootout loss on the year.
