Sting Double Spitfires

The Windsor Spitfires dropped a 4-2 pre-season game against the Sarnia Sting Thursday night.

The Sting scored a 1-0 lead in the first period and extended it with another unanswered goal in the second. The Spitfires finally made it on the board with two goals in the third, but the Sting responded with two of their own to win the game.

Daniil Vertiy and Anthony Stefano each scored one for Windsor.

The Spitfires will play their final pre-season game against the Sting on Saturday at 7:05pm.
