Slipchuck's Par Tops Jr. Boys

The rain held off just long enough for play to wrap up at the Jamieson Jr. Golf Tour's stop in La Salle today.

Amherstburgh's Marcus Slipchuk broke through the pack in the Jr. Boys' division for his first tour victory by shooting an even par 71 at Seven Lakes Golf Club. Leamington's Kyle Humphreys shot a 73 to finish tied for third with McGregor's Luc Warnock who managed to hit a hole in one on the 11th hole.

In the Jr. Girls' division, Jasmine Ly recorded her second win of the season with a 76 while Rachel Cote and Belle River's April Lesperance tied for second with 84s. Chatham's Brooke MacKinnon placed 5th with an 87.

In the Collegiate division, Bryce Evon finished well ahead of the field with a 65 while on the women's side, Emily Stadder took first place with an 80.
