Windsor police have warned the public about a convicted killer who may be in southwestern Ontario.
Kingston police and Corrections Canada say 49-year-old Mason Jenkins turned up missing on the morning of September 24 following a head count at the Collins Bay Institution.
Jenkins is serving a life sentence for the high-profile murder of his sister in Chatham in 1998. Jennifer Jenkins, 18, was shot to death in the family home.
He is described as White, 5’ 9”, 255 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair, currently shaved bald. He was last seen wearing a light green jacket, blue jeans, and rubber boots.
Windsor police say if you see Jenkins, do not approach him yourself. Call 911.
