Two Chatham-Kent men have been arrested and charged following a break and enter at a hydro compound in Howard Township.
Chatham-Kent police said they had to use their drone and a police dog to take the pair into custody during the early morning hours of Tuesday.
Police allege a Hydro One security guard saw two people inside a secured hydro compound at approximately 2:11 a.m. on Tuesday and contacted police.
One suspect was arrested inside the compound, while the other was arrested hiding in a nearby wooded area, noted police.
They also allege that a pickup truck believed to be associated with the break and enter was found hidden behind vegetation near the scene.
A 38-year-old man and a 34-year-old man, both from Chatham-Kent, have each been charged with break and enter, mischief, theft, and possession of property obtained by crime.
