Chatham-Kent police have charged a man for allegedly spitting on someone.
Shortly after 9 a.m. on Thursday, police were called to a business on Grand Avenue West in Chatham for a potential assault.
When officers arrived, they were told that a man had spit on an employee before fleeing.
The officers later found the man, who reportedly tried to get away but was eventually arrested.
He's since been charged with assault and resisting arrest.
He remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing.
