Chatham-Kent (CK) police have charged a 20-year-old man with assault.
At around 6:30 a.m. on Monday, officers were called to a home on Hedge Maple Path in Chatham.
According to police, the man and another person had gotten into a verbal argument when the man allegedly pushed the victim, grabbed their arms, and spat on them multiple times.
The man was gone when police arrived at the home, but police later found and arrested him.
He faces two counts of assault.
The man has since been released from police custody on conditions, with a future court date.
