Plenty to do in CK this weekend

Anyone looking for something to do in Chatham-Kent this weekend won't have to look far.

There are are several events scheduled this weekend.

The Wallaceburg Antique Motor + Boat Outing (WAMBO) kicks off Friday, with the Terry Glover Memorial Cruise taking place on McNaughton Ave.

Cars, boats, motorcycles, fire trucks, and motor coaches will be on display from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

The Bothwell Opti-Fest is also happening on Friday and Saturday. All the festivities take place at Victoria Park, with the Giant Car Show slated for Saturday.

Over in Croton, the Chatham-Kent Plowing Match is marking its 89th year. Everything gets started at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.

If people are willing to drive a little outside of Chatham-Kent, Comber is holding its annual fair for the 167th time.

Fireworks are planned for both Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m.
