Tickets available for special fundraising gala

Tickets are now on sale for a fundraising gala that will be held this fall in support of the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent (ASCK).

The event is a new one for the ASCK, which said it wanted to do something special to recognize it's 40th anniversary.

The black tie event will feature dinner and drinks, a silent auction, and a diamond earring raffle. It's also planned as a way to unite people and celebrate the support ASCK has provided to locals living with dementia, their care partners, and their families over the last four decades.

All proceeds from the event will go toward the expansion of the ASCK's Day Programs.

According to ASCK, an increase in the demand of services has necessitated growth beyond the two programs being offered in Chatham and Wallaceburg.

The fundraising gala will be held at Links of Kent on Friday, November 20.

Tickets cost $150, with a maximum of eight guests allowed per table.
