Hydro One has scheduled a planned outage that is set to effect 613 customers.
The outage will take place from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, affecting people in Wheatley to just outside Belle River.
The Municipality of Chatham-Kent (CK) announced the outage Monday, noting Hydro One crews will be completing essential maintenance on local electrical systems as part of its efforts to maintain and upgrade the electricity grid.
CK reminded those affected to keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible, make sure appliances are turned off, and to charge devices before the outage.
